Cub Scouts Add Video Game Award for Ratings Awareness
Welcome to the twenty-first century, where feats of childhood derring-do like building teepees, backpacking, and tying square knots are about to share time with a decidedly interior activity: video gaming.
That's right, the Cub Scouts--the junior 8 to 11 ages subset of the Boy Scouts of America--are adding a new "ability badge" to their arsenal of earnable merits for the Tiger, Cub, and Webelos troops. But here's the catch: The awards aren't for how many bonus lives you've earned, or stars you've collected--you have to do stuff like bone up on the ESRB's rating system and be able to describe why it's important.

Corsair Solid-State Drives — too good to be true?
Here's a quote from Jesse Lawrence's Blog @ Corsair...
I just uploaded a video demonstrating the performance advantages of swapping out the hard drive of a Dell Inspiron™ laptop with a Corsair Performance Series P128 SSD. To say I was blown away by the experience would be accurate. I’ve upgraded to one of our SSD drives on my home computer and always felt like it was faster after the upgrade, but I didn’t do any benchmarks or time the boot speed of my machine before and after, so I never really knew how much faster it really was.

Second-tier makers unlikely to start mass shipping Nvidia Fermi cards until April
Second-tier graphics card makers are unlikely to start mass shipments of their Nvidia GeForce GTX 480/470-based (Fermi) graphics cards until April despite that Nvidia plans to announce the GPU on March 26 since most of the them have not yet received complete reference board designs, according to sources from graphics card makers.
